So here I am finally getting around to updating our DA page. I'll be dumping a good amount of recent art, as well as letting people know what's coming up from Hyde Komiks Ink. First off we've been really busy and just about none of it has been with art. With the ever shrinking economy and businesses hacking employees, our family was hit pretty hard. Cinda was let go from her job along with about 250 other people, and things aren't looking so good for yours truly here. To keep things upbeat though I'm gonna switch gears twards what we are working on. I have more chibis on the way. Our next set will be the classic avengers and 10 of our favorite anime characters. You'll just have to check back in to find out which ones those are. Cinda is finishing up writing a beautiful adventure featuring our short haired samurai "Sho" and we have 3 small minis written and scripted that just need to be finished up - so expect to see those soon. We also have 3 minis written for our Sweet and Sour books that we hope to have done soon as well too. We are looking at re-formatting sweet and sour to a strip instead of a more sequential book, but we'll see  how that pans out. I am also trying to finish up a few pages that I have from Tribe Studios texx-a-02.deviantart.com/ … well as looking into working with some new creators here in the Phoenix area on some exciting new projects. I am continuing to work on a few commissions that I have on my table now, But sorry I am not open to commissions right now. If that changes - I'll make sure to let all you Deviants know. So we wrapped up our first major convention appearance at the 2009 Phoenix Cactus Comicon. We had a great time. Saw lots of cool things - met a ton of cool people, and learned many valuable tips from my "table-mate" Dane from Monkey Minion Press. I still have some commissions to get to so I just wanted to give a big thanks to all those that stopped by our table to pick up prints or sketches, or just to say hi. We met so many cool people, and I got to put a few faces to some of you deviants out there. So - THANKS for making this such a great experience for us! See you guys soon.

So good news is I'm really busy working on a lot of art projects right now - Bad news is I'm really busy working on A LOT of art projects right now. Still trying to crank out stuff for PCC in January (minis, micro-prints, and pinups). Just finished the inks on Tribe Studios HotDog Man. And Bub just about has me talked into inking another full book... damn him...  On top of all that silly me went ahead and signed up for a 3 month art tournament on PencilJack. I guess it's only 3 months if you keep winning so I'll probably be in it for a week. heheh Anyway I'll go get cranking on stuff while you go check out the new stuff up in the gallery which includes the first batch of stuff for the PJ tournament. Okay so I haven't been as good as I had hoped to be about keeping up with my DA account. The good news is that I have been continuing to sketch and even finish off some pieces. I really didn't want to dump this much art at one time, but I'm afraid if I don't just suck it up and do it, lazy me is just going to keep putting it off until who knows when. So I've just dumped a bunch of art into my gallery and scraps. Most of it I've posted on other sites like penciljack, but some is just for DA. Yeah! I'm continung to get stuff together for our minis that we hope to have ready for the phoenix comicon in January. So I'm not taking commissions right now, and probably won't be for some time. If you are interested in original commissions, I may be talked into an art trade which I have really enjoyed doing before. Just note me and we'll talk. Anyway I hope you take the time to view the 'super art dump' and that you enjoy it at least a little. THANKS!

I finally got around to dumping some sketches off in the gallery. Still progessing along slowly with the cartoony style work. We've been active over at Penciljack as well. Also getting involved with a local artists group just formed here in the Phoenix area called Tiny Army. Very cool stuff. We'll be talking them up in the future. Just wanted to keep the art flowing in the gallery so enough reading - go look at some art...
